5 Products I Rely On To Treat Acne Overnight

With the wedding season on in full swing, I have my outfits and my makeup looks penned down. But as a result of all the cocktails and late nights, the state of my skin is always unpredictable. The slightest change in my routine can cause my skin to act up. And there’s nothing more depressing than waking up to a pimple on an important day. Unfortunately, no amount of concealer or primer can cover up and smooth down a fresh pimple. Thankfully, I found some products that work their magic (almost) overnight.

The Clear Winner

What pimple? The Urban Yog Acne/Pimple Patch absorbs acne pus and covers up the blemish entirely. Because the patches are clear, it looks like skin. It helps mask texture and can easily be covered with makeup. I’ll be honest, you can still see it up close but these pimple patches are your best bet.

A Muddy Solution

Whenever I have more pimples than I dare to count, I know it is time for a skin reset. I’ve been using the Freeman Deep Cleansing Mud Mask a lot lately. It helps deep cleanse and dry out pimples thanks to the charcoal and black sugar in its formula. Don’t forget to moisturise after you use this.

The Spot On Remedy

If you prefer to spot treat, the Foxtale One Zit Wonder Acne Spot Corrector Gel is great. Formulated with actives like azelaic acid, AHAs, and BHAs, this helps to reduce acne and minimise scarring. Use it a couple of nights to get relief from an angry zit.

The Sheet That Keeps On Giving

Niacinamide and calendula are both great ingredients to calm acne and inflammation instantly. The POPxo Sundowner Soothing Chamomile Sheet Mask is what I reach for when my skin needs extra pampering. I love using this sheet mask after a clay mask.

The Cutest Cover Up

If you’re not one to mask it, flaunt it. No cuter way to do it than the Gush Beauty Dart It Anti-Acne Hydrocolloid Pimple Patches. You can get them in colourful designs like stars, hearts, and flowers.

If I were you, I’d be adding these acne-fighting products to my cart right away.
