Kiara Advani’s Monochrome Makeup Look Is Perf For Your Date Night With Boo

Kiara Advani’s Instagram feed is all the beauty inspiration we need right now. The actress is hands-down a makeup maverick, who loves choosing fun textures and colours to play things up. From embracing a minimal look with a tonal nude vibe for one moment to picking slime-green eyes for the next – her feed is loaded with bookmark-worthy beauty looks you need to keep on your radar. But if there’s one thing that the star always swears by its lit-from-within glowing skin.

No matter what the occasion, a dewy base, a chic monochrome makeup, and a messy ponytail will never go out of style. Case in point: Kiara’s latest Instagram post. The star recently incorporated the wildly popular makeup look and hairstyle for a promotional appearance for her upcoming film, Shershaah, and we’re officially inspired.  It’s safe to say that earth tones are classic, tried and tested neutrals you cannot go wrong with- especially in the case of makeup. Now you may not have Kiara’s glam squad, but we’re here to break this noteworthy look down for you. Keep scrolling to know the deets.

A Step-By-Step Guide On How To Nail Kiara Advani’s Monochrome Makeup Look

Step 1: For Luminous Base

Kiara loves rocking a glowy, dewy skin and all her IG posts are proof. All you need to do is give your face a 2-minute massage with your go-to creamy moisturizer. Then, apply a layer of the Farsali Rose Gold Elixir to ace a luminous base. Alternatively, mixing a few drops of this serum with your foundation or using a serum-infused foundation will also do the trick. Once done with the foundation, apply a creamy concealer to cover any uneven patches, then dab setting powder only on areas where you tend to get oily a tapered brush to retain max glow.

Step 2: For The Perfect Arch

Fill in any gaps in the brows with your eyebrow pencil and brush them in place with a spoolie. If you’re blessed with fuller eyebrows, you can just use a clear brow product to set it in place.

Step 3: To Nail That Gossamer Eyeshadow

Smooth on an eye primer to prep those lids for makeup. All you need to do is apply a light peachy pink eyeshadow all over your eyelids and crease. Next, use a clean blending brush to diffuse the edges. Take the same shade on a precise brush and run it along your lower lash line.

Step 4: Smoke It Out

Grab a brown kohl or pencil eyeliner and then trace the winged eyeliner and gently smoke it out to add a little more drama. Don’t forget to apply the same on the lower lash line and smudge it out to create a smokey effect.

Step 5: For Flushed Cheeks

Dap a few dots of peach blush that matches the eyeshadow tone on the apple of your cheeks and blend, try to blend all the harsh edges before the product dries out. Apply a liquid highlighter on the high point of your face including your cheekbones and the bridge of your nose.

Step 6: To Nail A Fuller Flutter

Curl your lashes and coat them with a volumizing mascara. You can also go for falsies of your choice.

Step 7: To Ace That Glossy Pout

Kiara chose to keep her lips minimal. To ace the look, all you need is a glossy lipstick in a nude hue.

Step 8: For A ‘00s-Inspired Undone Ponytail

We totally love how the ‘it’ girls are embracing this ‘00s- inspired updo. All you’ll need is a little salt spray to bring out your natural hair texture or a little pomade or mousse to lease layers with your finger. To add an extra boost of volume, turn your head upside down and tease the hair at the crown upwards with a hairbrush. Then, use a hair serum to smooth the frizz and flyaways. Yes, it is that simple!
