Kate Middleton Sparkles In Princess Diana’s Tiara But We’re All Hearts For Her Makeup

Whether meeting diplomats or simply enjoying time with her fam, Kate Middleton never ceases to amaze us mere mortals when she steps out in public. The 40-year-old British Royal, is the ultimate beauty muse and has made her mark on the beauty world more times than we can count. She is always sparking headlines for natural glamm looks and always seems to have one of the best blowouts we have ever seen.

For King Charles III’s first-ever state banquet at the Buckingham Palace, Catherine, Princess of Wales, wore a stunning white gown by Jenny Packham and paired it with her go-to headpiece for such occasions: Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara. ICYDK, the piece was one of Princess Diana’s fave tiaras. And while her sartorial choice has us going green with envy, she did not fail to sweep us off our feet with her makeup showcase. For the evening, Kate Middleton made her grand debut as the Princess of Wales and she did so with a beauty look that left a trail of gasps in its wake. Featuring brown eyeshadow, winged liner, nude lips, and dewy skin – the look was too good not to share. And for those itching to recreate the look (guilty!), here’s the step-by-step guide to nailing that royal glow.

Princess Catherine Proves That Soft Smokey Eyes And Nude Lips Are A Match Made In Beauty Heaven

Step 1: Just Dew It

Soft-focused, dewy skin like Princess Catherine is super easy to achieve. The best way to ape the glow is by using illuminating products in conjunction with a skin-perfecting routine. Once, you are done with your CTM routine, apply a glow-inducing primer all over your face. You can use two primers aka an illuminating primer and a pore-blurring primer. Use the latter for areas that tend to get oily. Wait for five to ten minutes for the products to sink into your skin. Then, apply the foundation using a damp makeup sponge to add that dewy glow. Don’t forget to apply it to the next area. Pat and blend a cream concealer to cover any scars or blemishes and to brighten the under-eye area.

Step 2: Brow Chika Wow

Fill in any gaps in your brows using a brow pencil. Use hair-like strokes to mimic the look of your natural brow hair. Set the hair in place by combing the hair up with a brow gel.

Step 3: Spread Your Wings!

Smear an eye primer all over your lids. Load some nude brown eyeshadow on a precise brush and apply it on the outer corner of your eyelids and along the eyesockets and the lower lash line. Then, take a kohl liner and apply it along the upper lash line. Complete the look by smoking it out lightly using a clean shadow brush.

Step 4: Lush Lashes, Here We Come!

Curl your lashes and coat them with mascara. If you are exacting, stick on for a few individual lashes.

Step 5: Lethal Cheekbones, Incoming!

Sculpt your face by using a powder contour. Apply it along your hairline, across the temples, and on the hollows of your cheeks. Then, dab a few dots of cream blush on the apple of your cheeks and blend it towards the temples.

Step 6: All About The Pout

Apply a peach-toned nude lipstick to complete the look.

Glow like a princess!
