The B-town actress was a sight in a yellow anarkali and sheer embroidered jacket by Anushree Reddy. Needless to mention, we were blown away… by more than the fact that she looks absolutely breathtaking.

Not only does Janhvi look so much like her late mother, Sridevi but her choice of attire also bore an uncanny resemblance to the Bollywood veteran’s most iconic look ever. Remember the song ‘Tere Mere Honton Pe’ from the Sridevi and Rishi Kapoor starrer Chandni? Here’s something to refresh your memory…

Yes, Sridevi in this sheer yellow embroidered saree is one of her best fashion moments and one we remember her by. 

A closer look and you wonder if Janhvi’s floor-length anarkali was inspired by her mother’s graceful saree in Chandni. Both the looks feature the same shade of yellow, delicate sheer fabric and subtle embroidery… Looks like Janhvi decided to pay a stylish tribute to Sridevi‘s love for yellow.
