Step 1 – Add a tablespoon of turmeric and a quarter cup of milk into a bowl.

Step 2 – Mix both ingredients well, until it becomes a paste.

Step 3 – Apply it over your upper lip and leave it for about 5-8 minutes.

Step 4 – Once it dries up, wash it off with cold water.

How often should you do this? Twice a week.

2. Egg Whites Are Superheros

This may turn out to be a messy affair, but it’ll totally be worth it in the end. Egg whites help remove hair and soothe skin. Try it to believe it!

Step 1 – Separate the egg whites from the yolk and empty it into a bowl.

Step 2 – Add a teaspoon of sugar and corn flour and whisk it till it becomes a thick paste.

Step 3 – Apply it over your lips and leave it to dry for an hour or more.

Step 4 – Gently peel off the sticky paste and wash it off with lukewarm water.

How often should you do this? Twice a month.

3. White Sugar And Sour Lemon Juice

We love this remedy because lemon has natural bleaching properties in it, and it’s a perfectly healthy way to get rid of that troublesome upper lip hair.

Step 1 – You’ll need to squeeze the juice of 2 lemons and pour it into a bowl.

Step 2 – Add a quarter cup of water and a tablespoon of white sugar.

Step 3 – Blend all the ingredients well, until they turns into a thin paste.

Step 4 – Apply it on your lips and wash it off after 45 minutes, once it has hardened.

How often should you do this? Thrice a month.

4. Flour For The Win!

This remedy is cost-effective and extremely simple! Make sure that you apply cream to moisturize your lips after trying this treatment out. It will make that area baby soft and smooth.

Step 1 – Mix half a cup of yoghurt and 2 tablespoons of flour in a bowl.

Step 2 – Use your fingertips to apply it all over and wait for the paste to harden.

Step 3 – Scrub it off using water and apply cream afterwards.

How often should you do this? Once a week.

5. Good Old Turmeric And Plain Water

You don’t need any other ingredient apart from turmeric and water! This remedy helps brighten skin, erase marks and remove unwanted facial hair! What more could one ask for, right?!

Step 1 – In a small bowl, add 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder.

Step 2 – Add a teaspoon or more of water and mix well using a spoon.

Step 3 – Apply it on your upper lip and wait for a good hour or so.

Step 4 – Once the paste hardens, rub it off using a warm damp towel.

How often should you do this? Every day.

6. Masoor Dal Is Your New Bestie

This homemade pack will not only brighten your skin, but will also do a great job at removing facial hair.

Step 1 – Take 1 tablespoon of masoor dal and grind it in a mixer.

Step 2 – Scoop out the powdery paste and empty it into a bowl.

Step 3 – Add ½ a cup of milk and mix well.

Step 4 – Apply it on your upper lip and rinse it off after an hour.

How often should you do this? Twice a week.

7.  Potato Slices Are Good For You!

Just like lemons, potatoes have bleaching properties too! They’re not only affordable, but super useful for getting rid of unwanted facial hair!

Step 1 – Cut a potato into thin slices.

Step 2 – Just before you go to bed, rub it over your upper lips.

Step 3 – Next morning, wash it off with lukewarm water.
