This Is The Hair Colour Trend Set To Dominate 2024

It’s going to be redundant if I say the ’90s are back, because we know this already. GenZ’s really bringing back every single trend that we’ve all witnessed and even been part of during our younger days, both, in terms of fashion and beauty.

The latest trend to make a comeback, no thanks to GenZ here, is the resurgence of dirty blonde hair. Some believe it never went out of style, thanks to the subtle blonde highlights that took its place for a minute. But there’s nothing subtle or minimal about these new looks our favourite celebs have been sporting, making my case stronger than ever.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas

Okay, I’ll give credit where it’s due. Mimi Didi is almost always the first to kickstart a trend by sporting it months(or almost a year) before the rest. Case in point, her dirty blonde hair back in January.

Tara Sutaria

Tara has always had blonde highlights but she went a couple of shades lighter this year with the blonde overpowering the brown. We’re not complaining!

Deepika Padukone

When DP went several shades lighter, it caused a few tremors in the beauty space. So much so that Diet Sabya even shared crowdsourced recommendations on salons where you could get a similar look!

Tamannaah Bhatia

Tamannaaah’s blonde may not be as out there as her peers, but you definitely can’t miss it.

Selena Gomez

When Selena hops on a trend, you know it’s here to stay. The Rare Beauty founder kickstarted December by going multiple shades lighter and styled into carefree waves. So edgy!

JLo

Jenny On The Block has always been an advocate for dirty blonde hair and is probably one of the very few who didn’t let the trend die down completely. But her retouched brunette hair in her announcement of This Is Me… Now, is one way to say that the trend’s here to say.

New year new you? I know I’ll be starting my year with that motto!
