7 Reasons You Should Break This Guinness World Record WITH Us!

We’re hoping that by now you’ve got your calendar marked for the 6th of November, because we’re super excited to be a part of PUMA’s #DoYou movement in Mumbai. ‘DO YOU’ celebrates the strength and individuality of women today, and delivers the symbolic message of the core strength that women display every day of their lives. So join the DO YOU movement and be a part of an event that attempts to break the Guinness World Record of the most people to hold the abdominal plank position for 60 seconds. Register here and head on over to JIO Garden, Mumbai on the 6th of November at 3 PM. Excited? We sure are, here are a list of reasons we simply can’t wait to get planking!

1. Planking with the celebs

Okay. This is one of the many reasons why we are dying to be a part of the DO YOU movement. We get the chance to see and plank with some of our favourite celebrities. Jacqueline Fernandez, Olympic medalist Sakshi Malik, singer Anushka Manchanda, model Ujjwala Raut and Kalki Koechlin along with other women achievers from various fields will be at the event, planking to break the record. 

2. Your name goes down in history

This is the stuff that dreams are made of. It’s not everyday that you get the chance to be a part of something that attempts to break a world record! Considering the only record we have ever broken is the most number of gol gappas eaten. So girls, if you can hold your plank for sixty seconds your name goes down in history! Isn’t that amazing!

3. DJ, play my favourite song

Music makes the world go round, and we can’t wait to groove along with DJ Megha Kawale. With foot tapping music for the women of Mumbai who will be planking to break the world record – this event promises to be great fun! With all the exercise, we are sure you will work up quite an appetite. Which is why the event will have amazing food trucks that will be serving up lip smacking goodies. So foodies – unite!  

4. POPxo bloggers

Our very own POPxo bloggers will also be there, joining in the movement. They are all pumped for this exciting event. So grab your sports wear and head on over to spend some time with them.

5. Zumba sessions

Straight from the heart of Latin America, this dance inspired workout is every girl’s favourite. So come experience an amazing Zumba session with international Zumba specialist Sucheta Pal. If this has been on your to-do list for a long time then make your presence felt at the PUMA event.

6. Maximum entertainment

It is called ‘maximum city’ because it dishes out the maximum entertainment! The event is being hosted by Mumbai’s favourite RJ Malishka and the charming Shibani Dandekar. We know Mumbaikars are in for a great time and we’re kinda jealous!!

7. Girl power
