Gold Eyeshadow Is The Easiest Way To Look Glamorous In Seconds & We Show You How

Makeup can feel daunting especially if you’re a beginner. When I first ventured into the beauty world a kajal and a tinted lip balm were my two go-to products. I’d pretty much rock this look everywhere but after binge-watching way too many beauty tutorials, I started experimenting with more ‘advanced’ products. From lip balm, I graduated to a creamy lipstick, and from kajal, I moved on to eyeliner. The first eyeshadow look I ever tried was applying gold to my entire lid. Honestly, it looked pretty good and made me feel a little more put-together.

If you’re new to eye makeup, a gold shadow is easy to use, hard to mess up, and versatile. Scroll down to read how you can look instantly gorgeous with just this one colour.

Gold Eyeshadow Looks That Will Make You Look Oh-So-Glamm Instantly

You’re Solid Gold, Baby!

Just like Sonam Kapoor, pack on gold pigment on your lids with your finger. You can line your lower and upper waterline with kajal and apply a thin line of gel liner to the upper lashline. For that tiny bit of pop, just apply a champagne shade in your inner corner and you’re ready to rock the night away.

Keepin’ It Lowkey

We know that Kylie Jenner and the word lowkey don’t go well together. But this eye makeup look is just that. She has dusted a champagne gold eyeshadow all over her lid and paired it with a bold lip. For it to look more coherent just apply a warm brown shadow or a bronzer to your crease and you’re done.

All Smoked Out

Apply a gold shadow all over your lid with a flat eyeshadow brush and then take a warm orange shade to give it that sunset effect. You can apply a black shadow to your upper and lower lashline for that smoked-out effect. Don’t forget to apply coats of mascara and you’re all dolled up.

More Glitter, Less Bitter

This is the easiest look on the list and will take you just about 30 seconds to do. Pack on a gold eyeshadow and you can use an eyeshadow stick because it’s the quickest to use, blend it all out with your finger, and coat your lashes with mascara. Yup, you’re all glammed up!

Bling Ring

If you really want to make your eyeshadow the focus of your look start by applying a matte brown shadow to your crease. Build up the colour on your outer corner of the eye and keep blending it all in. You can then apply a deep brown to your outer V and pack on the gold shadow to the inner half of your eye. Fill in your brows, apply mascara and it’s time to get the party started.
