Can We Take A Moment To Talk About The AMAZING Geetanjali Thapa?

She’s a National Film Award winner. She also won two international awards for her movie I.D. And yet, many of us are completely ignorant about who she is… Geetanjali Thapa was born and brought up in Sikkim. And she has always maintained a very strong stand on the fact that she doesn’t want to be cast for a role just because she’s “Northeastern”. And while we respect her wishes, we still wish we got to see much more of her! Which is why we’re overjoyed to see her in the latest Tanishq ad. The kind of space that is usually reserved in India for the biggest stars a la Katrina Kaif  and Deepika Padukone. The message is also super-relatable for every working woman who has had to compromise on things to reach all the places she wants to go. And thanks to that, we’re loving this beautifully shot video even more!
