I’m The Proudest Husband In The World: Ranveer Singh Is All Praises For Wifey Deepika

In a world where people are scared of love, who doesn’t like a man who won’t shy away from declaring his love publicly? And we all know a man like that…yes, we’re talking about Ranveer Singh. From chasing after Deepika Padukone with a rose to travelling across the world to meet her, Ranveer not only set #BoyfriendGoals but also #HusbandGoals. But apart from that, this Bollywood power couple also taught us how a mature and respectful relationship should be. 

Let’s face it, we’ve all been in love with Ranveer ever since we’ve seen how he treats his ladylove. The actor holds his wifey in high regard and treats her with much love and respect. And this is why he has set the bar really high for all the couples out there! And adding his charming personality to the mix—we just cannot help feel a little envious of Deepika.

And now, Ranveer has done something that made our hearts melt yet again. Deepika recently launched her own website, which has all the information about the actress, including everything that’s in her closet *victory dance*. But that’s not what caught our attention. In the biography section of her website, we noticed some testimonials from people from the entertainment industry, including one from her husband. 

If you thought you’re Deepika’s biggest fan, you couldn’t be more wrong ‘coz Ranveer is definitely her number one fan! The actor couldn’t stop gushing about wifey in his testimonial. Calling her the most amazing person, Ranveer said that the actress ‘nurtures a universe within herself: of love, compassion, kindness, intelligence, beauty, grace, and empathy’. He went on to call her one of the finest actors in the world. “She’s got inner strength, resilience, grit, and an iron-will. A woman so righteous and full of virtue, that she commands respect. I sometimes stop and admire her, aware that she’s a special soul, born for greatness. I am the proudest husband in the world,” added Ranveer.

The Padmaavat actress’ website also includes testimonials from directors Kabir Khan and Farah Khan. Another testimonial that caught our eye was one from designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee who praised the actress and also revealed that she has ‘an enormous appetite’. 

Deepika and Ranveer met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali film Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ramleela in 2012. After dating for six years, the duo tied the knot in traditional Konkani and Sindhi ceremonies in December 2018 at Lake Como, Italy. The couple will be seen together on-screen in their upcoming film ’83 which is based on India’s first World Cup win. Ranveer will portray the role of cricketer Kapil Dev and Deepika will play his wife Romi Bhatia Dev.
