Don’t you just love a bridal squad with oodles of swag? Well, this super fashionable bridal party will give you and your besties major goals for the next big shaadi in your gang! Our Fashion Editor, Nitya Uppal played bridesmaid for her bestie from school, Vidya Varma as she tied the knot with beau, Aayush Bhasin at Alila Diwa.
In order to have coordinated outfits for the mehendi, the bridechilla decided to try something different by sending her sisters and best friends a super cute floral printed fabric, a month before the wedding. Out of her 10 bridesmaids, half were given blue and half, pink. The girls were free to create any kind of outfit they wanted with the material.
Kudos to Vidya for giving it to them in the most adorable packaging ever! The whole idea behind it was that instead of having to wear a bridesmaid outfit that you don’t like or are uncomfortable in, they were allowed to choose and design what they wanted to wear, while still sticking to a super fun and pretty floral theme.
The outfits were for the mehendi function which was a fun poolside affair on a sunny afternoon. The floral theme went perfectly with the daytime event which consisted of loads of cocktails and daytime fun!
