1. Anushka Sharma in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Anushka Sharma’s bridal look in ADHM sure did leave all of us awestruck. The actress sported one of the bridal lehenga designs by Manish Malhotra that weighed around 20 kilos! The regular short choli was replaced by a kurta in a beautiful peach and onion pink shade. It was teamed with a gorgeous red lehenga and the outfit featured intricate gold thread and zari work all over. Anusha was styled in two dupattas, a heavier one that goes in the front and a light net dupatta for the head.

For the jewellery, Anushka wore a delicate pearl string nath with a stunning polki set. We love the emeralds that look royal and add just the right amount of colour. Also, that passa is to die for!

2. Kalki Koechlin in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Apart from bridal lehenga designs by Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi bridal lehenga designs are another rage. Kalki donned a Sabyasachi creation for her wedding look in YJHD and carried it with elan. The petite bride kept it simple in a red lehenga with a super short and super sexy choli. A red dupatta with heavy borders went on her head.

Kalki’s jewellery too was kept minimal with a polki necklace and earring set along with a maangtika. Just the perfect way to complete your bridal look!

3. Alia Bhatt in 2 States

Alia’s bridal look in 2 States was probably one of the most talked about! She did look gorgeous against the stunning backdrop of the Mahabalipuram Temple. Dressed in a red banarasi lehenga and a contrasting orange brocade blouse, this South Indian inspiration did manage to steal our hearts. We love the red chiffon dupatta and the minimalistic embroidery on the outfit. South Indian brides, you absolutely need to steal these ideas!

Her hair was done in a gajra and Alia wore a traditional coin necklace and a gold choker for her wedding look. Her gold jhumkis and a delicate maangtika completed the look. Ooh, and we love that kamarbandh… So pretty!

4. Kareena Kapoor Khan in 3 Idiots

Yet another bridal look that managed to cause a major stir among brides-to-be, and still does! Kareena looked like a million bucks dressed in a full sleeved jacket with high slits. The jacket was paired with a flowy lehenga and it sure is a bridal look we rarely get to see. The outfit sees shades of fiery orange and pink and we just can’t stop admiring it!

We love her elaborate jewellery too! A delicate nath with a polki maangtika and jhumkis looked extremely pretty. But what stole the show was her statement rani haar and the gorgeous polki and ruby necklace. So stunning!

5. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Jodha Akbar

How can we be talking about Bollywood brides and not mention Aish in Jodha Akbar! Aishwarya’s royal Mughal era look is still talked about and so many brides crave to look just like she did in the filmShe wore a magnificent red lehenga with heavy zardosi and mirror work. The craftsmanship was extremely intricate and made Aishwarya look every bit royal. Her dupatta extended all the way over her face and we’ve lately seen just too many brides styling it the same way. Trust us, it looks gorgeous!

A borla, an elaborate rani haar, kundan choker, heavy jhumkas, haath phool and traditional kadas – the bride wore it all. The jewellery was absolutely mesmerizing and we love the red rubies that match her bridal attire.

6. Anushka Sharma in Sultan

Such an elegant, minimalistic and classy bridal look. Dressed in an ivory chikankari ensemble, Anushka once again left us dreamy eyed. The kurti and ghagra feature gota and dabka work and we adore those little ghungroos on the sleeves. The gota fringe dupatta too stands out in this look.

A statement passa, a delicate nath and green bangles completed her bridal look. An absolutely breathtaking Bollywood Indian bride!

Deepika donned a traditional South Indian look for her role in Chennai Express and she sure did make a ravishing bride. The attire was a traditional gold and red kanjeevaram silk saree which Deepika carried off beautifully. A gold kamarband completed her look.

The jewellery too was kept traditional with red bangles, layered gold necklaces and a maatha patti that sure did stand out.

8. Sonam Kapoor in Dolly Ki Doli

Sonam Kapoor looked regal as a Muslim bride in her movie Dolly Ki Doli. While she had 16 other bridal looks, this one totally stood out for us. To start with, we’re in love with the olive green colour of her wedding outfit. Dressed in a jacket and skirt with dull gold embroidery, Sonam cut an elegant picture. And this dupatta draping style gets a thumbs up from us.

Her jewellery too is quite a show stealer. Love the chandelier earrings, the delicate nosepin and of course the passa that’s gorge to another level!

Bollywood Indian brides don’t just wear exquisite lehengas, afterall. Don’t we just love this Punjabi bride?! Sonakshi made for a pretty picture in her pink Patiala suit. A short kurti paired with a salwaar and fuschia pink borders, it definitely is a look to steal. We love the light booti work on her dupatta and the green lining on the kurta. Her jewellery was basic with a kundan set completing the look.

10. Nargis Fakhri in Rockstar

Okay, let’s admit it that Nargis Fakhri looked exceptional as a Kashmiri bride. She was a vision in a traditional red Kashmiri dress with minimal work. And how gorgeous is that shade of red! Paired with the dress was a heavy orange net dupatta that for us, totally did steal the show. We love the exquisite double border and the embroidery work on the outfit.
