In a country like India, where society is primarily patriarchal, women are often bound by tradition and customs. Even though things are changing and India is working towards being a liberated country for both men and women, there are still some people in this country who think otherwise.

Nimisha Bhanot, an Indo-Canadian artist, created series of paintings depicting the liberated Indian women in her artwork. Her visualization and creativity to put such influential paintings out in the open is something we absolutely admire her for. Here are few of her artworks that’ll leave you amazed.
