After KJo, Ankita Lokhande’s Fiancé Is Being Bullied Online. Will This Ever Stop?

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s passing away on July 14 shook everyone in the country. His tragic death by suicide also reignited the age-old debate of nepotism in Bollywood. Speculations about why the actor took such a drastic step started all over the internet. Many industry insiders hinted at the contribution of the “Bollywood privilege club” in the actor’s death. However, we need to understand the fact that Sushant lost his life to depression, a serious mental illness, and exploiting his death to have discussions over nepotism is just unfair.

The actor’s death unleashed a storm of angry social media posts blaming the star kids and filmmakers who wouldn’t let him be included. Karan Johar has been at the receiving end of it all. According to a popular Bollywood daily, Karan Johar is allegedly in a bad state, mentally and emotionally. A few weeks ago, the director also quit the MAMI board as the trolling after Sushant’s demise has affected him badly.

Not just KJo, Ananya Pandey and Jhanvi Kapoor also faced a lot of backlash for being a member of a ‘star family’. Recently, Ranveer and Deepika recently were subjected to a lot of hate when DP posted a birthday wish for her husband.

And now, Ankita Lokhande’s fiancé, Vicky Jain, has become the new target. A lot of negative remarks were left on his Instagram profile after Sushant’s death.

Ankita and Sushant met on the sets of Pavitra Rishta and dated each other for six years before amicably ending their relationship. Sushant was actively following Ankita and also wished her the best for all her upcoming projects via her social media. That being said, both of them have had happily moved on. Ankita is engaged to Vicky Jain, an entrepreneur and they are all set to get married by the end of this year. Sushant, on the other hand, was rumoured to be dating Rhea Chakraborty.

The reason why Vicky is now facing the hate is because Ankita was spotted at Sushant’s house and she was devastated. The pictures were soon circulated over the internet, courtesy paps! Another reason why people are loathing Vicky is because Sushan’t best friend Sandip Singh wrote a message for SSR in his Instagram, which spoke about Ankita and Sushant’s break up.

He wrote, “Even when you both seperated, you only prayed for his happiness and success… Your love was pure. It was special. You still haven’t removed his name from the nameplate of your house❤️ I miss those days, when the three of us stayed together in lokhandwala as a family, we shared so many moments which bring tears to my heart today…cooking together, eating together, ac ka paani girna, our special Mutton bhaat, our long drives to uttan, lonavala or Goa! Our crazy holi! Those laughs we shared, those sensitive low phases of life when we were there for each other, you more than anyone. The things you did to bring a smile on Sushant’s face. Even today, I believe that only you two were made for each other. You both are true love. These thoughts, these memories are hurting my heart…how do I get them back! I want them back! I want ‘us three’ back!”

After reading this post, Sushant’s fans started leaving hate comments on Vicky’s profile. Vicky reportedly had to turn off his comments. But why is Vicky being subjected to this hate, what’s his fault here? That he is engaged to Sushant’s former girlfriend? Do we really need to explain here that people decide to part their ways because they want to?

It’s not fair to put someone through so much hate. People need to understand that the need of the hour is conversations around mental health not cyberbullying star kids and filmmakers or pushing personal agendas for that matter.
