Post the Pulwama attack, the Indian army launched a surgical strike in the Balakot area in Pakistan to take out the terrorist organisation behind the attack. Post the surgical strike, on Wednesday, Pakistan announced that it has taken custody of an Indian Air Force pilot.

As the citizens of India and Pakistan learnt of the crossfire taking place on the Line Of Control, there was a cry for war on WhatsApp and Facebook groups. Meanwhile, several took to social media to promote peace. This is what gave birth to the hashtag #SayNoToWar where citizens of both the countries decided to promote peace and share their thoughts.
