If you’re running late, or you’re simply not in the mood to wash your hair, this is a great hairdo. And the best part is that you need next to no skill to recreate this look. I don’t know about you but I love a versatile hairdo. You can wear this one to work or to a party with practically any outfit and it’s going to make it seem like you really tried to look presentable. The truth is that it’s the perfect lazy-girl friendly hairstyle that you can recreate in under 10 minutes.
Here’s how!
Step 1: Part your hair in the centre using a sharp, tail comb. This will give you that crisp, clean centre part. Gather all your hair to the back and make a low pony. Secure it with an elastic tie.
Step 2: Take a section of hair from your ponytail and wrap it around the elastic. Add a couple of bobby pins under the ponytail to secure it in place.
Step 3:
Now that you’ve got your ponytail secured it’s time to fluff it up! Spritz a little bit of hairspray or texturising spray onto your pony and roughly brush it up nad pick up random sections and backcomb them slightly. If you have a lot of baby hair along your crown, I’m about to let you in on one of the best hair styling hacks I’ve learnt from my hairdresser. Spritz an old toothbrush with some hairspray and run it along any areas you have baby hair. The hairspray will hold them down all day making your hairdo look a lot neater. That’s it you’re done, you’ve just recreated a Bollywood favourite hairstyle.
