Alia Bhatt Is Totally Following The Lilac Eyeshadow Trend & You Should Too

ICYMI, lilac eyeshadow is taking off this season. The hue totally dominated the Spring/Summer 2022 runways, which was enough to send us beauty addicts down a shopping spiral. If you don’t believe us, just take a look at Alia’s latest IG post where the actor is sporting a frosty, lavender eye look.

In her recent look, Bhatt has switched up her go-to, brown eyeshadow for the hottest hue of the season- lilac. She paired it with a side parting and a glossy, pink lip and looked like the perfect ’90s baby. So, if you plan to try this look out, keep reading cause we’ve got a step-by-step guide!

Alia Bhatt’s Lilac Eyeshadow Look Decode

Step 1: For Luminous Skin

Begin with cleansed skin. Then, apply a rich moisturiser and massage it in circular motions till it is fully absorbed. Prime your skin with an illuminating primer. Next, buff a liquid foundation that creases a soft-focus finish into the skin using a brush. Apply in thin layers. Dot concealer under the eyes and on blemishes, and use the warmth of your finger to blend it into the skin.

Step 2: Brows Like A Boss

For strong brows, draw short strokes to mimic your natural hairs with an eyebrow product. To fill them in more, use a brow powder with an angled brush to fill in any gaps. Follow it up with a brow gel to set them in place.

Step 3: Grab Your Frosty Lilac Shadow

First, apply a sheer brown eyeshadow to define your eye sockets. Make sure you apply the same along the lower lash line. Then, use a tapered blending brush and apply a frosted, lilac shadow on the center of your eyelids, buff and blend them together. Use a precise brush to apply the same shade on the inner corner of your eye too.

Step 4: Make Your Lashes Look Like Falsies

Next, curl your lashes and coat them in mascara. Use a volumising mascara on the top and bottom lashes.

Step 5: The Dewy Dumpling Essentials

For glowing skin in photographs, apply a cream highlighter on top of your brow bone, cheekbones, the peak of the forehead, the tip of your nose, and the cupid’s bow, which is where the natural sunlight would hit your skin. Apply a powder highlighter on top of your cheeks if you want to amp things up.

Step 6: For Glowing, Flushed Cheeks

Apply a peachy cream blush on areas where your cheek looks the most round. Blending upwards along the cheekbones adds more depth.

Step 7: Things Might Get Slippery!

Start by placing your lipgloss at each corner of the mouth and gliding it up and over towards the Cupid’s bow.

We can’t wait to see her next celebrity beauty look!
