Beauty On A Budget: Celeb-Approved Makeup & Skincare Products That Are Worth Trying

celebrity-drugstore-makeup.png

Am I the only one who wasted all her time watching makeup and skincare videos in quarantine? Probably not. As much as I hate to admit that that's literally all I did in my free time, I did learn a lot of new techniques that I'm probably never going to try--new concealer hacks, how to use a makeup product in more ways than one and what not.

One of my favourite kinds of beauty videos is definitely the celebrity ones. Watching them do their makeup themselves without the help of makeup artists is refreshing. And guess what? They don't always use the most bougee products--their beauty arsenals contain a few drugstore must-haves as well. Wanna know all about them? Then keep reading.

Fave Drugstore Beauty Products Of Celebs

Honestly, not all of us can shell out money worth a month's salary on beauty products because we. just. can't. And as much as we love fantasising about owning expensive products one day, it makes us happy to know that celebs love using affordable products too, right?

Sonam Kapoor | Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzer

Sonam Kapoor did one of those *Get ready with me* makeup video for one of the most prestigious magazines in the world and the fact that she was so honest about her blemishes made me love her even more.

Sonam shared her basic skincare and makeup products that she uses on a daily basis and one of the products that she used in her makeup routine was the Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzer. Instead of using it on her cheeks to define those cheekbones, Sonam revealed that she uses it as an eyeshadow and it's genius, TBH!

Priyanka Chopra | Bio Oil

Priyanka Chopra loves bio-oil and if you've ever read of her many interviews, then you know that she's always raving about this miraculous oil. She says that it's responsible for making her skin blemish-free and also aids in fighting dry skin. She uses it almost every night and guess what, now we shall too!

Megan Markle | Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara

The beauty world was shooketh when the Duchess of Sussex aka Megan Markle revealed that she uses the Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara to curl her lashes. FYI, it costs a mare sum of $6. Sadly, this product is not available in India but you can get your hands on it from websites that ship to India.

Or try the MyGlamm Twist it Mascara because it's awesome!

Kareena Kapoor | Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

In an interview in 2014, Kareena revealed that she is a skincare minimalist and loves using the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream on her face as it works the best for her. Honestly, it is one of the best facial moisturizers out there and if you're looking for a moisturizer that'll work wonders on your skin without breaking the bank, this one's it.

Camila Cabello | L'Oréal Paris Makeup Infallible Up to 24HR Pro-Glow Foundation

Camilla is killin' it RN. Apart from dating everyone's current crush (Shawn, why yu do dis?), she is also busy topping the charts with her chartbusters. Even in the beauty world, Camilla is a star and if you ever wondered what her go-to foundation is, we have the deets.

Camilla loves the L'Oréal Paris Makeup Infallible Up to 24HR Pro-Glow Foundation and in fact, she also wore it at the Grammys red carpet. Another product that is not available in India but you can always get your hands on the MyGlamm Treat Love Care Brightening Foundation.

Selena Gomez | Olay Regenerist Luminous Brightening Foaming Cleanser Cream

Selena Gomez is turning out to be quite the queen of the beauty world and her brand, Rare Beauty, is proving everyone right. Selena is also a skincare junkie and loves using the Olay  Regenerist Luminous Brightening Foaming Cleanser Cream to wash her face.

Gigi Hadid | Neutrogena Oil-Free Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub

Well, don't we all wanna know the secret to Gigi's incredible skin? Turns out she relies on the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Scrub Pink Grapefruit and it is so affordable. Yup, this is also not available in India but you can get it delivered to your house via trustable websites.

Celeb are (sometimes) just like us.
