So, Stree is a success and the cast has been celebrating this big win at the box office. Shraddha Kapoor is now preparing for the release of her new film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu.
Promotions for the new movie are in full swing and we sure as hell are glad… ‘coz Shraddha Kapoor decided to suit up. We’re not talking boring, shapeless and ‘work’ appropriate pantsuits. The pantsuit in question is a work suit upgrade one can only dream of. It might even beat Shraddha’s blingy halter top from a week ago…
Shraddha chose an ensemble by DeWar, an Indian luxe label that specialises in western wear.
Her look consisted of 3 pieces that made a striking co-ord set- One, a cropped cami top; two, high-waisted flared trousers that fit Shraddha Kapoor like a glove; and last, a longline jacket, exceptionally tailored and structured to lend the look a formal edge.
Shraddha Kapoor’s pantsuit boasted of various shades of silver and grey, which, thanks to the interesting squiggly-line-like texture across the length of the suit, looked brilliant and prominent.
Smart move on her stylist’s end to skip statement accessories and go with only black stud earrings and simple (and hardly visible) black heels.
Her subtle smokey eyes – yes, there is such a thing – and wavy lob are perfect matches for her look, amirite?
We don’t know about you but we sure think Shraddha Kapoor’s outfit for Batti Gul Meter Chalu promotions is worth sitting down with a tub full of butter popcorn for.
P.S. There might be rumours that Shahid Kapoor steals the spotlight in this film but if Shraddha’s promotional looks are any hint, we don’t believe this rumour is true.
