Kareena Kapoor might be a boyfriend-stealer in this Bollywood rom-com but she dressed like the 90s dream. Tinted sunnies, textured boot-cut jeans and chunky belts (almost) to the point of ugly. Bebo charmed our boots right off us in this Bollywood movie and you know it!
2. Tashan
Umm, can you say ‘smoking’? Kareena Kapoor’s first ‘size zero’ appearance obviously called for her first bikini shot but what got us were her peak 2000 looks with denim shorts, metallic boots, body belts et al!
3. Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon
Sure, it is has been deemed a movie that features the ‘most acting ever’ but Kareena Kapoor’s wardrobe is hands down, the ‘mostest’. It is surprisingly very diverse – from sober pastel tailored salwar suits to embroidered bell bottoms like this one here.
4. Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham
Never forget. Bebo wore mismatched shoes before it was cool. Hrithik aka Rohan might not have been capable of understanding then, but we did. Poo’s metallic skirts, asymmetric tops, boa feather scarves and oh, all that leather… P.H.A.T, indeed.
5. Asoka
If warrior princesses dressed like that, put us in a time machine RN, amirite? Supremely sensuous yet delicate, Kareena’s wardrobe in this Bollywood drama with SRK is nothing short of drool-worthy. Up top, if you’re singing san sanananana, san sanana nan in your head, right now.
6. Jab We Met
Iconic, to say the least, Kareena’s outfits in Jab We Met threw everyone into a desi fusion frenzy. T-shirts with dhoti pants and short kurtis with cropped pants… who would have thought Geet would take the world by storm?
7. Chameli
Bebo might have been portraying the role of a sex worker but her sarees weren’t as crass as one would have thought. In fact, look at the details – beautiful floral print blouses, ruffled sleeve cuffs and a very on-trend saree drape. Way to go, Kareena!
8. Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu
Who would have thought Bebo could pull Boho-hipster off so well? Kareena Kapoor Khan worked chunky knit scarves, poofy parkas and some v. v. v. cute denim skirts. Not to mention all the boots!
9. Kambakkht Ishq
Took you a while to place this movie, right? I don’t blame you… but just look at this flirty yellow sundress from this Kareena Kapoor starrer. Bebo’s wardrobe in this Bollywood film is an accurate cross between Mean Girl and Girl Next Door.
10. Veere Di Wedding
Kareena’s return to the big screen came with a complete look change and boy, are we glad. With Rhea Kapoor styling her in this Bollywood flick, Bebo worked some mellow yet edgy outfits that we just couldn’t get enough of. Who could ever forget her boho wedding lehenga with the baby’s breath dupatta. Not us, for sure.
