1. The Classic Winged Eyeliner
Plixxo blogger Madhumita Chakravarty, of Très Envogue, is all for the classic look that’s evergreen and looks stunning! About her new years look this time, she says, “With the advent of the party season, there’s one universal look has been my go-to look! Wispy lashes, subtle winged liner and a beige eye pencil on the waterline. Along with that, I want to sport dark lips and glowy contour!”
When we spoke to Plixxo blogger Aashna Bhagwani of Beyond That Bouffant, she said that a messy smokey is a no-brainer as far as make-up looks for NYE go. “The smokey eye is one of the sexiest eye looks out there. Neutral lips and dramatic eyes are the way to go. For the dramatic smokey, there is no need to be neat - the messier the better. You can't go wrong with it. This look is perfect for New Year's Eve," she says.
Reds and nudes aside, Plixxo YouTuber Neha Desai is a fan of the mauve lip. On being asked about her NYE make-up look, she kept it to the point and said, “My beauty go-to look for NYE is mauve-silver eyeshadow and matte mauve-pink lips.”
If we were to describe Plixxo YouTuber Prachi Agrawal’s (of Super Wow Style) NYE make-up preference in two words, they’d be ‘basic’ and ‘bright’. “I’d go with bold, red lips to highlight the face. I’d keep my eye make-up really basic with eyeliner and nude eyeshadow. I’d finish my look with a light highlight,” Prachi said when describing here look when welcoming 2018. She added, “This is the perfect look for those girls who don't want the party to stop. No worries about fixing the hair or fading eyeshadow, because this is a look where touch-ups are not needed.”
