Yes, Kim Kardashian posed with nothing but just glitter all over her body for her new KKW Beauty line’s upcoming collection Ultralight Beams. The highlighters and glosses kit is set to launch on 1st December.
The first time we came across news of Kim working on lip products for her brand, we accept, we were looking forward to shades of nude because that’s the vibe of KKW Beauty. But we are pleasantly surprised as the new metallic lip kit is nothing like a million Kylie lip kits. It’s not even December yet and we’re getting the holiday vibe already, because it’s all shimmery!
The reality star chose a dramatic way to unveil the launch by sending the first kit to Huda Kattan of Huda Beauty. And its first look was revealed by the glam guru Huda on her Instagram.
“Imagine how shook we were when we received a package from KKW Beauty containing never seen before goodies! Not only did we find one gorgeous product inside, but two completely brand new, unteased products – like WTF, where did these come from!!” Huda wrote on her blog.
Huda has also shared the breakdown of this set on her blog in a video. The collection comprises five glitter lip glosses and five coordinating shimmer powders in metallic hues that you would prefer to use again and again. They’re pretty and universal shades of silver, gold, rose gold, bronze, and copper. While our first thought upon seeing the combinations was that it would complete our New Year’s eve look, we would not want you to refrain yourself from mixing and matching the powders.
Huda’s suggestion: Layer the formula over primer as a gilded highlighter.
If you are wondering how the glosses will look on you, don’t think twice because Kim has been testing them for a while on red carpets. She shared with a publication, “You have no idea — I started wearing it at New York Fashion Week (in September). I posted this photo at the Alexander Wang show on my Instagram and I never had more people ask what lipstick it is in that photo. It was the most satisfying feeling when friends, make-up artists, everyone was like, ‘What is this lip liner?’”
