Kim Kardashian Launched A New Perfume Collection Inspired By Quartz Crystals

Remember the time when Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint in Paris?! In spite of being scarred by the bitter robbery incident, the beauty entrepreneur’s spirit wasn’t broken. After talking about going through a personal reformation, Kim K was inspired to launch her new fragrance collection, Crystal Gardenia.

In The Making

According to her recent interview with WWD, it all began after undergoing a horrific ordeal in Paris. She said that a lot of her friends would come over and gift her healing crystals. She drew inspiration from these crystals and introduced the very first scents under the KKW Beauty Brand.

Kim’s Crystal Collection

Each perfume comes in a sleek, geometric frosted glass bottle that resembles the precious quartz crystal. Currently, the three scents sold exclusively on kkwfragrance.com are Crystal Gardenia, Crystal Gardenia Citrus and Crystal Gardenia Oud. Her signature scent Crystal Gardenia has top notes of water lily, velvet tuberose, tiare flower and timeless gardenia. While the Crystal Gardenia Citrus includes top notes of woods, musks and sparkling citrus. And finally, Crystal Gardenia Oud has top notes of lavender, red rose jasmine and bergamot.

Kim K’s vision for the perfumes bottle’s design was clear, she said. “I just wanted a bottle that was so simple that it can look like it’s something sitting on your counter and be a beautiful object. I tried to make it really timeless so that it can’t just all be about a celebrity fragrance.”

They’re currently available on her website and are sold at $60 (approx Rs 3,918) for 75 ml and $35 (approx Rs 2,287) for 30 ml. The best part is that the website ships products to India too! (Although, you’ll have to pay for international shipping charges separately during checkout) Anyway, if you want to get your hands on one, you better act quick because once they sell out, we don’t know if they’ll restock anytime soon!
