Imagine a trunk full of treasures and as you open it, you are almost blinded by all the shimmer that is visible to you, yes, that’s what fall beauty palettes have been doing this year. Everyone in the beauty industry is somehow making sure that you, yes you, remember the collection for ages – either for quality and diversity or for the glitter.
Too Faced is one beauty brand that has gone to and beyond the horizons of creativity to make brand loyalists of sorts. Including their covered-in-glitter ‘Better Than Sex’ stilettos which were inspired by their Better Than Sex mascaras.
And just when we thought Too Faced is done experimenting with sparkle, shine and glitter, after the Glitter Face Mask (which is coming to you this winter) and the Unicorn Holiday Collection, they hit us with some pixie dust, again. We were thinking that Too Faced Melted Latex Lipstick was the only product we need to be jumping up and down for but little did we know, the brand had other plans, plans to drench your lips in gold.
Jerrod Blandino, creative director and founder of Too Faced Cosmetics, has been hinting about his collaboration with gold (because lipsticks with Unicorn tears were not enough) and we, obviously, have been looking forward to it. So now we know that Too Faced has gone ahead and infused the formula with actual gold to create the ‘Melted Gold Liquified Lip Gloss’.
Blandino gave a sneak peek confirming that this beauty will drop in December. Could this holiday season get any better?
The lipgloss has a brand new liquid foil formula. The price is not disclosed yet but with real gold particles, it might not be as easy as Melted Latex’s retail which was approximately Rs 1,370. But we think it’s obviously worth the investment.
Get your sunglasses ready, ladies because you are gonna need them. It comes with shiny golden packaging which says, “forget wall street, invest in make-up,” we get your point and we buy it, literally.
