Is she a singer, is she a fashionista or is she a beauty expert? Yes, she’s all of those! Rihanna shines bright like a diamond in the sky that’s endless, and here’s your proof!
@Badgalriri knows how to rule the best of both worlds in style, she’s rocked super memorable looks like the much-talked about sheer Swarovski crystal embellished gown by Adam Selman and she’s designed comfort and fashion for you through Fenty Puma by Rihanna in the past. But now, she’s all set to take over your beauty regime with her Fenty Beauty by Rihanna.
Rihanna has finally unveiled her long-anticipated campaign video for her cruelty-free Fenty Beauty cosmetics line and it’s ah-mazing, but not the way you are thinking it to be. She’s celebrating diversity here and what a way to do that. The 40 shades of foundation and other make-up products are specifically created for your skin tone and you’ll love it. Plus, each shade name is unique and fun, these are the ones you’ll be getting - Yacht Life, Chili Mango, Chic Freak, Trippin’, Hustler Baby, Wrong, Trophy, Wife, No Charge, Confetti, Hustler, Freestyle, Cinnamon, Starstruck and Fire Crystal. Loving it already!
The beauty industry is often criticised for catering more to white/fair skin and less for dusky beauties and women of colour. We’ve all grown up with those ads promoting fair and lovely skin, haven’t we? Instead of accepting us the way we are, we ourselves end up trying to change the skin colour we’re blessed with. Because those lips shades look so different on every skin. In fact, models like Leomie Anderson, who is featured in the Fenty Beauty campaign as well, have shared in the past about how ill-equipped many makeup artists are for working properly with darker skin. Well, our girl Riri is here to change all that now. Why tell anybody, you shouldn’t wear that colour? You wear the shade you look your best in.
Fenty Beauty is all set to launch its best on 8th September 2017. It will be available on selected Sephora online platforms and fentybeauty.com for now but we can’t wait to pick our shades from Fenty Beauty in India!
Ready for the change?
