7 Ways To Stack Jewellery Like A Pro… Without Looking OTT!

It’s no secret that accessories can make or break your look. You might be wearing the best dress you own, but it won’t seem complete till you wear a blingy bracelet or a statement neckpiece that will complete your outfit. But sometimes, one is just not enough! Don’t we all want to stack our jewellery? Don’t be scared to look too gaudy, here’s how to stack jewellery like a fashion pro!

1. Follow The Curve

To avoid a cluttered look, it’s essential that your jewellery forms some kind of a curve. Shreya Kalra wears a choker necklace along with gold chains along with a dainty neckpiece!

2. Focus On The Base Metal

The past couple of years have been like a dream to me. I've constantly slapped myself every day to confirm that I'm not actually sleeping and that all this is REAL. I've received an enormous amount of support, love, beautiful words and encouragement from so many people. I've done amazing campaigns and projects with reputed brands and designers. 7 years back I could have never imagined working with such amazing brands or having been featured in all the glossy magazines in my wildest dream. All the extra hours I spent working on concepts, stories, campaigns and projects without sleeping and pushing myself to improve and do better, mattered. Whenever I was on the verge of giving up someone would give me a new inspiration to keep me going harder and harder. Now, it's all paying off, and it's all because of your continued support. This year, 2016 has been one fabulous year for me. I have no regrets or disappointment. The 365 days ride and the experiences was all worth it. I've been blessed and I hope and pray that you all had an amazing journey too. Waiting with my arms wide open to welcome a New Year and a new day to receive. Have a great night and please stay safe. Love you all from the bottom of my heart. #thankful #blessed #byebye2016 #goodbye2016

Stacking can be tricky and it’s very easy to get wrong. If you don’t want to go overboard with colours, make sure you focus on the base metal of the jewellery. If most of the jewellery that you’re wearing is gold plated, stick to a similar base. This is especially true in the case of yellow gold because it doesn’t match up with all other metals.

3. Choose Complementary Colours

Sometimes, even basic oxidised silver jewellery could use some colour. Experiment with your look by choosing colours that complement each other. A combination of blues, yellows and reds, for instance, can never go wrong.

4. Experiment With Styles

When you think of stacking jewellery, you think of dainty pieces paired together. Don’t shy away from trying bold styles like tribal jewellery. See how Kritika Khurana wears two statement pieces together to make one bold choker! We approve!

5. Mix And Match

Mixing and match to make your stacked look a unique isn’t as complicated as it looks. Don’t be scared to team up stacked rings with charm bracelets and let your hands do all the talking! Balance the look by choosing one key colour and fusing secondary colours as a part of the stack.

6. Size Matters!

Got a couple of piercings that you could dress up? Either put together a couple of small and delicate earrings to dress up your ears or go for one big earring and complement it with li’l, dainty pieces.

7. Put Your Prettiest Foot Forward

Have a thing for anklets but didn’t know how to style it? If you thought you couldn’t wear more than one anklet at once, this is how it’s done! Pretty up your feet by wearing a two or more anklets together to up your accessory game!
