The insights from these veterans is always helpful and the same was proven through the interview they gave to Twinkle Khanna. They revealed what the best decade of their life has been and honestly, it felt like watching our inhibitions being voiced out.

Honestly, we can relate! We may not lie in the age group (or be even as gorgeous the Pathak sisters) but we too hate to keep up the act of being young and full of life all the time. At times a girl just wanna cry a little because of the immense backpain.

Most women all over the world for that matter discover a major part of their freedom in the latter decades of their lives. This is not to say that they did not previously have the said freedom, just the fact that at times, women get to enjoy the epitome of it much later in life, when they can just do away with the need to keep up for others and finally focus on rocking their true selves.

As much as we enjoy being an independent self-sufficient girlie, there are times when we just want to exist without always having to worry about the way we look. And the interview touched upon the same notes that how after hitting a certain age, the alarming concerns of having to look a certain way kind of fades away. And simply letting go of the pretense does not mean that women will immediately start to wither away, it just means that women let go of the need to keep up with their looks according to the societal standards (which were never reasonable to begin with).

Letting go doesn’t have to mean neglecting one’s health, it merely refers to the hectic upkeep of the outwardly appearance that women are expected to maintain at all times and OOF does it take a toll!
