Pharmacy Products Under ₹700 That Women Just Can’t Get Enough Of

In the oversaturated world of beauty, trends overtake quality. The newest packaging, the fanciest applicator, and the most ‘in vogue’ products always overshadow our tried and tested basics. I’ve always fought for my drugstore staples and their value in my skincare routine, and so has everyone in my team of beauty aficionados.

In the interest of expanding my own knowledge, I asked everyone what their favourite pharmacy product was – the underdogs of the skincare world who deserve a spot in the limelight. They rival their high-end counterparts not just in price, but in performance. Here’s a list of our favourite drugstore products that aren’t just good, they’re gold!

Sneha Kalra, Junior Editor

“I love the Moisturex Cream for a multitude of reasons. It’s affordable and lightweight and my skin always feels like butter after using it. I also love Lacto Calamine, it’s iconic; and surprisingly, one thing that really works for me is the Himalaya Mud Face Pack! I know this is a bit controversial but it’s great for oily skin since it clears out my pores and makes my skin much brighter.”

Harshita Singh, Staff Writer

“I loved the Saslic Foaming Face Wash when I used to have acne. It has salicylic acid in it and can be a little harsh but I used it on and off and it seemed to do a great job at exfoliating.”

“Currently I’m wearing the Swiss Beauty Pop Eye Eyeliner in Onyx Black. I really like this one because it’s budget-friendly yet the precision and formula are quite high performance.”

Manya Ailawadi, Senior Writer

“Right before my cycle starts, I get more acne than usual. One thing that really dried up the cysts overnight is this cream I used to use – Cutisoft. Works wonders on pus-filled cysts.”

Aadrika Sominder, Junior Writer

“I love a good drugstore find. My current favourites have to be the Cetaphil Oil Cleanser as well as the Bioderma Gel Moussant. They work amazing when it comes to double cleansing, but are pretty potent when used individually as well.”

Mansukh Julka, Assistant Manager, Social Media

“Just two things I swear by: Emolene and Azelaic Acid Serum.”

“I know this is going to be really controversial but all my life I’ve just been using the Himalaya Neem Facewash. Say what you will, I’m never stopping.”

Vasudha Sabarwhal, Staff Writer

“One of my favourite drugstore brands is the Minimalist. I love their hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, serum as well as their niacinamide serum. Use them alternately and make sure you consult a dermat before mixing serums!”

Isn’t it refreshing to find that the most reliable products often come with an easy-to-swallow price tag? These drugstore finds are proof that beauty doesn’t have to break the bank to be effective. Sometimes, the best beauty products are the ones we’ve been walking past all along!
