Infidelity is something where I don’t say much, because there are too many layers to it. These layers are also unnecessary at points, because there cannot be a possible justification. Somehow, people try to find logic to it as well. This is also an opinion, which differs from person to person. However, the fact that we expect emotional and logical sense from the person who has been on the other end. It’s as if being cheated on is a bigger responsibility than doing the wrong thing.
Of course, people keep trying to make sense of it – anything like “we both fell out of love” or “it was only physical” are just ways to feel better about oneself. You can justify anything if you want to – that doesn’t make it okay. The only truth is, there will always be differing opinions on the subject.
Just like how people are talking about cheating in relationships on ‘X’ (previously, Twitter).
