The wedding season has started with a bang in Bollywood and we have been vicariously attending most of them through Instagram. After looking at all the happy shaadi snaps, we have started wondering who else might jump on the bandwagon in the coming year. A couple that’s topping our list at the moment? Why, of course, it has to be Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora!
In the last few months, many reports have suggested that Malaika and Arjun are planning to get hitched soon. Well, finally, we have an answer straight from the horse’s mouth.
In the first episode of her reality series Moving In With Malaika, Malla opened up about her marriage plans while talking to filmmaker Farah Khan. Malaika said she was happy with Arjun and is okay not knowing what the future holds for them. She said, “Humne iss baare mein baat ki hai. Aap apne partner se aisi cheezon ke baare mein baat karte hai (we have talked about this, you talk about such things with your partner).
The actress added, “I think I am a better person in a relationship. Whatever decision I took is because I wanted to be happy. Aaj jo insaan meri zindagi mein hai, woh mujhe khush rakhta hai. I don’t care iske baare mein duniya kya sochti hai (I am happy with the person I have in my life. I don’t care what the world thinks about it).”
NGL, we love how Malaika is so honest about her relationship with Arjun. When the two made their relationship official on the ‘Gram, the actress was brutally trolled for dating a younger man. However, Malla paid no heed to the haters and continued living life on her own terms
TBH, you don’t need a ring on your finger to prove your love to the world. But a part of us really wants to see Malaika’s wedding couture. So, no pressure Malla!
