Koffee With Karan Season 7 hasn’t been disappointing to say the least. We’re glued to our screens every Wednesday midnight in hopes of getting some serious B-town intel. Recently, Ishaan Khatter made his Koffee return with co-stars Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Well truth be told, the highlight was when he got hella candid about his feelings with his ex, Ananya Panday.

Breakups are bittersweet and sometimes, we can’t help but talk about the sour moments of the relationship. However, proving that exes can still be friends, Ishaan only had great things to say about Ananya. “I mean, I hope to have her as a friend forever, for the rest of my life. She’s one of the most wonderful people I’ve known. She’s a sweetheart, she really is. Anyone who has ever met her knows. She genuinely is a sweetheart”. Aww, doesn’t that make you want to pick up the phone and call your ex? Without further probe, Ishaan added, ” Pulpy questions aside, she’s someone who’s very dear to me and always remain so”.
But the Ananya compliments didn’t end there. During the KWK rapid fire round, Ishaan was asked what he missed about his ex. The Phone Bhoot actor was quick to reply and said, “Everything. She’s a sweetheart. But, it’s for the better”.

Rumours of Ishaan and Ananya dating took flight sometime in 2020, when the duo began shooting for their film Khaali Peeli. While the two have always kept their relationship under wraps, the cutesy vacay pics and social media PDA moments had everyone second guessing their relationship status. Now, we don’t know why the two called it quits. But, it seems like the breakup was mutual and Ananya and Ishaan still care and respect each other.
Isn’t it a shame when things don’t work out in relationship the way we wanted to? But shh, we’re still secretly hoping that the duo gets back together soon!
