Don’t go by his age. Bridger Walker might just be a six-year-old but he is one brave kid. This little boy from Wyoming in the US recently got the much-deserved attention on social media for his heroic act of saving his four-and-a-half-year-old sister from a brutal dog attack.

Bridger’s aunt Nikki Walker started an Instagram page and shared the boy’s ordeal while posting adorable pictures of the brother-sister duo. According to the post, on July 9, Bridger jumped into action when a dog charged towards the little girl. While shielding his sister, the boy was brutally attacked and was bitten by the dog several times on his left cheek. Irrespective of the serious injury, he managed to grab his sister’s hand and safely pulled her away from danger.

Calling Bridger a hero, his proud aunt tagged the Avengers superheroes to let them know about the latest addition to their ranks. “I know it's a long shot, but I'm reaching out to the Avengers and other heroes so that they can learn about this latest addition to their ranks," she wrote while tagging Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Vin Diesel among other actors.

And guess what? Mark Ruffalo aka ‘The Hulk’ took notice and commented on the post, saying that he respects Bridger and admires his courage. He wrote, “Dear Bridger, I just read about what happened to you and I wanted to reach out to say this... People who put the well beings of others in front of themselves are the most heroic and thoughtful people I know. I truly respect and admire your courage and your heart. Real courage isn't dominating people or fighting against people or walking around like a tough guy. Real courage is knowing what is right to do and doing it even when it might end up hurting you somehow."

Your parents must be so proud of you," the actor told the boy. He even promised to send him a Captain America shield. How cool is that!? Watch the video -

Actress Anne Hathaway too noticed the story and shared it on her Facebook page. She wrote, “I’m not an Avenger, but I know a superhero when I see one. I can only hope I’m half as brave in my life as you are in yours, Bridger."

In the latest Instagram post by her, Bridger’s parents Robert Walker and Telia Walker urged people to help with a greater need.
