Vinesh Phogat, the first Indian female wrestler to win Gold at the ongoing Asian Games 2018 is on cloud nine for more reasons than one. Apart from winning Gold at the Games and making everyone proud, the wrestler has another reason to celebrate now.
The reason for her doubled happiness is her engagement with her long-time boyfriend Somvir Rathi. Yep, Vinesh and Somvir got engaged at the Delhi International airport on Saturday itself, when Vinesh returned from Jakarta post her win. The engagement ceremony took place in the presence of both the families and a lot of paparazzi. An elated Vinesh posted pictures from the happy occasion on her Instagram profile. Check them out:
The caption was so sweet and did justice to the happiness Vinesh must be feeling at the time:

They even cut their engagement cake at the airport itself, which we think is super cute! Incidentally, it was also Vinesh’s birthday on the very same day i.e. 25 August. So the celebrations were not just doubled, but tripled.
