'Horror Movies Spook Me': Vicky Kaushal Leaves Us Wondering How He Shot For Bhoot

It's been months since we saw Vicky Kaushal on the big screen and we can't wait to watch him in his next, 'Bhoot Part One- The Haunted Ship', which is his first-ever horror movie. The actor, who has impressed the entire nation with his amazing acting skills and talent, had some interesting revelations to make about signing up for 'Bhoot', and we're wondering what made a 'scared' Vicky opt for an all-out spooky movie.

While speaking to a leading news agency, the Raazi actor said, "I was contemplating before I read the script not after I read the script. So, before I read the script I was like 'Horror? pata nahi kaisai hoga, kya hoga' because I myself I am very scared to watch horror films. So, I didn't know. When I read the script it really spooked me out and I thought it never tried to make me feel scared it was just happening while I was reading and I really got sucked into that story".

"When I read the script, it really spooked me out and I thought it never tried to make me feel scared, it was just happening while I was reading and I really got sucked into that story. So, once that happens then it's about following your heart... It is a Dharma Productions (film) so you know it's a good production house... Then I met Bhanu Pratap Singh (director), he was really excited for his horror film... Horror is something that comes naturally to him... I knew I would be in safe hands," he added.

Announcing the release of the movie, Vicky even put up a poster on Instagram and captioned it, "Can't get away from the fear, can't get away from the terror. Help me escape". The movie, however, has been pushed to a 2020 release. It is slated to hit the silver screen on February 21, 2020 while its original release date was November 15.

'Bhoot...' stars Bhumi Pednekar opposite Vicky. The story is about a couple who gets stuck on an abandoned ship lying static on a beach. It is based on a true incident that took place in Mumbai.
