While all of us were swooning over Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal‘s wedding pictures, the handsome actor just gave us a glimpse into his Haldi ceremony. And we just CANNOT stop staring!
Varun shared a picture from the ceremony with haldi smeared all over him but what really won us over was how happy he looked! “HALDI done right,” read the caption and we just have to agree.
Now, we all love a good filmy shaadi but Varun just took it a notch higher. The second picture shared by the actor shows the groom squad sporting personalised T-shirts with the names of various characters from Varun’s films written over them.
The actor’s haldi ceremony had a total of four teams – team Raghu which was Varun’s character’s name in Badlapur, team Seenu from Main Tera Hero, team Veer from Dilwale and team Humpty from our favourite Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya. And we’re sorta wishing that we were a part of Varun’s groom squad!

Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on January 24 at The Mansion House, Alibaug. The ceremony was a close-knit affair with a strict no phones policy, limited wedding guests and the lovebirds also managed to keep the media away from the event. After the ceremony, Varun shared a picture of the newlyweds on his Instagram account.
According to media reports, the newlyweds may host a grand wedding reception in Mumbai on February 2. And we just can’t wait for it!
Varun and Natasha have known each other since childhood. While Varun fell in love with Natasha after he met her back in class 6, the actor had to face multiple rejections before the fashion designer said yes to him. The two kept their relationship a secret but soon after Varun’s debut, the speculations began. In fact, according to the rumour mill, Varun and Natasha had a secret engagement back in 2018 after which there were speculations about their wedding as well.
Well, we’re glad that these childhood sweethearts finally tied the knot and gave us 2021 shaadi goals! Can’t wait to see some more pictures from this couple’s pre-wedding festivities!
