Virat Kohli’s paternity leave ended recently and the Indian cricket team’s skipper is back to the pitch now. In fact, all the cricket enthusiasts are pretty excited ATM as the ongoing test match series between India and England is getting intense. Apart from his impressive performance in the field, Virat is also proving to be doting daddy and we’re loving it! As he left for his match in Gujrat, his little baby girl, Vamika Kohli followed him along with mommy Anushka Sharma.
The Pari actress and her daughter took a chartered flight to Motera Stadium, Gujrat on February 24. However, given Anushka’s request for privacy for her daughter, the chances of spotting Kohli Jr. in the cricket stadium are negligible. Though we still low-key hope to get a glimpse of the little munchkin nonetheless.
Virat and Anushka became proud parents to a baby girl on January 11. The couple requested the media industry to respect their privacy and not click pictures of their daughter. However, they also promised to share glimpses of their lives with their fans frequently. And soon after, lovebirds announced the name of their little munchkin on their social media handles with a heartwarming message.
“We have lived together with love , presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one , Vamika ❤️ has taken it to a whole new level! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss – emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive 😛 but our hearts are SO full ❤️ Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy 🤗,” Anushka wrote in the picture.
Well, we don’t know for sure that Vamika is going to be present in the field when daddy Kohli aces his game. But we’re definitely loving the way Virat is balancing his professional and personal life. Meanwhile, we’re waiting patiently to get the first glimpse of the youngest Kohli soon.
