Iss Sheher Ko Yeh Hua Kya: Twitter Reacts To CAA Horror That’s Shaken North East Delhi

What started as a clash between anti-CAA and pro-CAA protestors on Sunday in Jaffrabad and Maujpur areas of East Delhi, culminated in violent riots today killing a Delhi police constable, a civilian, and injuring 37 others in its aftermath. Things started getting out of hands as the two factions started pelting stones on each other followed by torching of a petrol pump, vehicles and a fire tender.

As a precautionary step, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has closed five metro stations that fall on the pink line including Jaffrabad, Maujpur-Babarpur, Gokulpuri, Johri Enclave, and Shiv Vihar stations. While the Ministry of Home Affairs raised suspicions of “orchestrated” chaos in light of Trump’s visit, it doesn’t diminish the severity of the problem.

And just in case, all of it might appear fabricated to you (especially in the times of rickety media narratives) from the safe confines of your home, here’s Twitter’s verdict on the violence and IT IS BAD:
