Deepika Padukone has officially got married to longtime beau-turned-husband, Ranveer Singh, after a fabulous #DeepVeerKiShaadi at Lake Como in Italy. While the couple is gearing up for Deepika's first birthday post marriage (can't wait to see what Ranveer has planned for her), we are celebrating our Saturday night tucked in bed looking at her oh-so-gorgeous outfits from last year again and again, and buying Deepika-inspired outfits. Here's a throwback to her best, and most popular, outfits in reel and real life, and how you can get the look for less for any occasion:

Piku is one of Deepika's most iconic characters for several reasons. For us, it is because of the casual, chic workwear that made her look comfy, stylish, and badass all at once. To get the exact same look, team the kurta with black palazzos, juttis, a brown leather tote bag, and oversized sunglasses. Don't forget your earrings and a bindi to nail the classic Piku look.

Deepika's look for the pre-wedding pooja at her house in Bangalore comprised of a simple but bright orange suit by Sabyasachi. For a Ghar ki Pooja or a mehendi function at home, this pretty look would be just perfect. Complete the look with a pair of gold-toned statement jhumkas and a micro-dot bindi to make the occasion all the more special.

A saree works for any occasion from a rishta meeting to a shaadi. And this Sabyasachi saree that Deepika wore to an event is anything but basic. The green floral print on this white saree makes it a perfect daytime outfit that you can take into the night. Style it with a statement-making choker necklace, tie your hair in a clean sleek bun, and voilà.
POPxo Recommends: Green Embellished Satin Saree (Rs 1,055) by Shaily at flat 68% off
Get yourself a girl who can do both, they said. And Ranveer agreed. Deepika is that girl who can pull-off Sabyasachi ensemble as well as a basic tee at the airport effortlessly. Of all her airport looks, this all-black-everything look is our favourite. Now you know what you can wear at the airport when you have packed all your best clothes.
Whether to work or to a party, to a lunch with the fam or to a dinner date with your special someone, you can wear this candy-striped dress everywhere and impress everyone. The price we found it as is a sweet deal too. Get your hands on Deepika's chic look from Cannes and look like style maven. A pair of red pumps is all you need to complete the look.
You can never go wrong with the blue jeans and white shirt ensemble. Add hot heels to this scenario and freshly blow-dried hair and you would look nothing less than a celebrity. The best part about this outfit is that we already have these things in our wardrobe - a solid white T-shirt, blue jeans, sunglasses, hoops, and heels. Simple and stylish just like our DP.
Deepika and Indian-wear go hand in hand. You may have missed Diwali but for the next wedding function you attend, here’s how you can look like Deepika in under Rs 3,000 (jewellery and footwear included). Navy blue and gold has never looked this bold!

We are almost certain that if asked what her favourite colour is, Deepika's response will be black. The actress wears black a lot and not just in one of her clothing items or accessories, she goes head-to-toe black like it's the end of the world. If you love black just as much, this outfit should definitely be on your must-have list. We love how no two blacks are of the same shade, and texture, in this OOTN. All you need is a fitted top, a silken skirt (we suggest a wrap-around skirt), and jet black accessories to get the look.
Deepika's love for Sabyasachi is known to all. Whether it is her wedding or someone else's, DP channels her inner Goddess in Sabya couture and we don't see why not! So, for the next wedding that you attend, take your black lehenga (we all have one, don't we?), replace its lehenga skirt with an embroidered one in gold, and drape the dupatta like a cape. Oh, the compliments you will get!

And so does Deepika. At least, the Mean Girls fanatic in us hopes that she does. If you want lessons in how to wear solid colours, take it from Deepika 'coz the woman is a pro. And while you are at it, get yourself a co-ord set for an ultra-feminine chic look. A solid co-ord set will instantly give you a sophisticated high-street look, DP is proof.
Another all-black outfit from Queen D. She wore this look for the Starscreen Awards 2018 and brought her A-game in this Anamika Khanna couture. To add some more drama to the look, she accessorised with pearl-drop earrings and a pearl-layered choker necklace in addition to some rings. You know how to glam up your monotone outfits now, don't you?

There were two wedding ceremonies for DeepVeer ki shaadi - one was in a traditional Konkani style for which she wore a traditional silk saree gifted by her mother, and the second one was an Anand Karaj for which DP wore a brilliant custom-made Sabyasachi lehenga. TBH, we like the saree better because this look is one-of-a-kind. This candid shot of the newlyweds is evidence enough.
#GetTheLook: If you too want a saree like Deepika's, visit Angadi Galleria in Bangalore and up your saree game DP-style.
