It’s been eight months since Rishi Kapoor went to New York for his cancer treatment. Ever since then Bollywood actors haven’t missed a chance to pay the legendary actor a visit. From Vicky Kaushal to Alia Bhatt and now Deepika Padukone, they’ve all gone out of their way to check on him. Deepika Padukone was in New York to attend the Met Gala and took the opportunity to visit her ex-boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor’s parents, Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor.

Neetu Kapoor also shared pictures from Deepika’s visit with the caption “Such a fun evening with adorable @deepikapadukone .. gave lot of love n warmth 😍” on Instagram. Deepika also commented on the picture saying, “Thank You both for such a fun, memorable evening!”

Post their breakup in 2009, Ranbir and Deepika have developed a solid friendship and even done movies like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha together. The two couples, Ranbir Kapoor and his current girlfriend, Alia Bhatt along with Deepika, who is now happily married to fellow actor, Ranveer Singh are often spotted hanging out together. From attending award ceremonies together to clicking pictures at Karan Johar’s private parties, these exes surely know how to clear the air!
Ranbir Kapoor recently made a statement saying that his father’s treatment has been successful. In a report by IANS, the actor said, “He is doing much better. Hopefully, he should be back in a month or two and his spirits are up and there is a lot of positivity in his behaviour.”
