There’s A Way To Get Rid Of Split Ends At-Home And It Won’t Cost You A Dime!

There’s A Way To Get Rid Of Split Ends At-Home And It Won’t Cost You A Dime!

Did you know that it takes approximately two months for our hair to grow an inch (sometimes even more) while your hairstylist takes only a second to chop it all off?

*Says not fair in Poo’s voice*

While sporting a short bob haircut is what everyone’s doing these days, be it a celebrity or that girl you gym with, not everyone wishes to chop off their long locks because of hair damage or split ends.

Split ends are the only reason why most people cannot grow out their hair beyond a certain length as their hair starts to split from the ends or even from between. Isn’t it a dreadful sight to see your hair go their own way, when you did every in your power to grow it out and nourish it?!

Split Ends, Not Anymore!

Bid adieu to split ends as we have found the perfect way to snip those split ends, and it involves using a pair of scissors – AT HOME!

Yes today, we’re cutting your hair…but there’s a catch, you’re not losing any length. Open any website or blog to see ‘how to get rid of split ends’ and you’ll see numerous ways to treat them by using homemade packs, using this product, eating these foods, etc.

First of all, that’s literally not as effective. Secondly, you cannot treat split ends, you have to get rid of them. Split ends happen when your hair *splits* into two (or more) parts, making it appear coarse and unhealthy. Mandatory things like oiling your hair, applying hair masks are only gonna make your hair feel silky smooth but will remove or treat split ends? Absolutely not.

You HAVE to *cut* your hair in order to get rid of split ends. And you can definitely do it without losing the length.

How To Cut Your Hair To Remove Split Ends

You’ll need:

– Comb

Step 1: Turn off your fan and spread out the newspaper so that your hair doesn’t fly off anywhere.

Step 2: Comb your hair properly and part them from the middle and then push all your hair behind your shoulders.

Step 3: Pull one strand of hair out front, twist it 3-4 times. Run your fingers a little aggressively in it so that tiny hair stands out and start cutting them.

Step 4: Repeat 2-3 times on each section of hair. Keep doing it till you’re done with your entire hair.

Step 5: Comb your hair again and pull them back but this time, take a nice chunk of your hair. and you know the drill; twist and cut it.

That was easy, wasn’t it? When you’ll start doing this regularly, you’ll start noticing a pattern- the patch that has the most split ends and you’ll know just how to get rid of them. Also, if you have most of your split ends at the ends of your hair, I’m sorry but you gotta chop them off as the split ends will only increase with time, slowing down the growth of your hair.

Here are some other ways to *make the cut* and get rid of split ends easily at home.
