Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer for the second time in November last year after she had announced that she beat stage 0 breast cancer about two months before that. Since then, she and hubby Ayushmann have been putting up a brave front to fight this battle. Tahira has inspired many by staying positive in the most trying of times. She has been documenting her journey on Instagram and battling cancer like a warrior.
In her final session of chemotherapy, she lost her hair and currently sports a bob cut. Tahira took to her Instagram to share a carousel of pictures. One of them is a picture of herself and the other is a picture of a popular 90s actor, whom, according to Ayushmann, she resembles. She wrote, "That’s me right in the morning without any hair product and @ayushmannk calls me Harish! For the longest time, I couldn’t recollect and found it cute in a weird way. You know at times you call people you love by different weird names at times even sounds. I thought it was that until .... swipe for what I found! #lookalike #antigravityhair"

The actor is Harish. He has worked in films like Aunty No 1, Coolie No 1 and Prem Qaidi, among others.
Amused by this, Ayushmann replied to the post. Here's what he wrote:
Aren't they the cutest?
Post Tahira's chemotherapy, she had shared a picture of herself and spoken about her journey. She wrote, "From my obsession with long hair, associating beauty with Rapunzel tresses, and hiding most of the time behind my hair (as I felt secure, lest my crooked nose, or freckles or pimples or simply not so chiselled face isn’t exposed) to losing my hair, wearing extensions and a cap, going bald to now a short crop. I am enjoying every phase because somehow with hair I lost my insecurity, my stupid notion of beauty and my complexes. I don’t know whether I’ll keep long hair or not, in either case, I am not going to hide my face."
In an interview last year, Ayushmann spoke about being by Tahira's side and supporting her in this journey. He said, "I am glad I have a partner like Tahira who is very brave, strong, who is an inspiration. I have started seeing life through a different prism. I was giving her my time, of course. In the morning I was promoting my films, in the nights I was with her in the hospital... It is not easy."
She's a braveheart indeed!
