Taapsee Pannu seems to be on fire right now. It was just earlier this month that the actress talked about the rampant sexism of the Indian film industry and how she was asked to slash her price because of her male co-stars. Further elaborating on the challenges and unjust treatment faced by her in the industry, the Thappad star also talked about how she was replaced in a film just coz her co-actor’s wife didn’t want her to work with him. Frankly, it takes real courage to open about the industry’s misogyny right when your career is beginning to soar up.
And speaking of her career, things are pretty much in motion for the actress on the work front. She just finished the first schedule for Rashmi Rocket and is now all set to start her work on Loop Lapeta. Earlier today, the actress took to social media to share the news with her friends and also shared a still from the film. And while everyone is all praises for Taapsee’s dedication to her work and how she is juggling projects with utmost efficiency, it is her quadriceps that are actually stealing the show right now.
Taapsee plays an athlete in the film and has thus been training hard to look the part. She has also mentioned in the caption about the tough schedule and how it was no less than a “boot camp.” “The boot camp like schedule 1 gets done, now running towards the lola family. Going to have a very chill cool stopover with the looopers. The best unwinding I could’ve asked for!
