Sussanne Khan, Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife has broken her silence on the controversy surrounding the Roshan family. The interior designer shared an Instagram post concerning the difficult time that the family is going through, addressing the claims being made by Sunaina Roshan in public.
In a recent media interaction, Sunaina Roshan, Hrithik Roshan’s older sister revealed that the family had been ill-treating her because she was in love with a muslim man. “Nobody has spoken to me. Nobody is in touch with me… It’s sad but they are not even supporting me,” Sunaina told a news portal when asked if Hrithik was on her side. Now, Sussanne Khan has shared a post in a bid to clarify what is happening.
Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik and Sunaina’s father was diagnosed with throat cancer at the beginning of the year and has now returned home to recover. Sunaina, on the other hand, claimed that she wants to move out of the Roshan house and tweeted calling it ‘hell.’ She even stated that the family has been physically assaulting her, last week they got a lady cop who slapped her, her father also hit her, her brother is trying to put her behind bars because she is in love with a journalist called Ruhail Amin.
In a recent interview with a leading daily, Sunaina shared why her family has been behaving this way, “Last year and because I was in love with a Muslim guy, my father slapped me and told me that the guy I loved was a terrorist, which Ruhail isn’t. If he was one, would he go scot-free and work in the media? Wouldn’t he have been behind bars? I met Ruhail through Facebook last year but I hadn’t saved his number as I didn’t want my parents to know. I shifted out of Palazzo apartments in Juhu, where my parents stay and started living in a hotel apartment but came back to my parent’s home last week. I got in touch with him through his office. He is a journalist called Ruhail Amin. I didn’t want to talk about this but I want them to accept Ruhail right now because they are making my life hell and I cannot tolerate it… They don’t want me to meet him. I don’t know about marriage but right now I want to be with Ruhail. Just because he is Muslim, they cannot accept him. If he was a terrorist, why would he be open in the media? Why would he be all over Google?”
In addition, Kangana Ranaut, who has a long-standing feud with the Roshan family, and her sister, Rangoli Chandel have become a part of this controversy. After Sunaina Roshan tweeted about living in hell, Rangoli began tweeting in her defence as well.
The tweet read – “Sunaina Roshan is asking Kangana for help, her family is physically assaulting her because she is in love with a Muslim man from Delhi, last week they got a lady cop who slapped her, her father also hit her, her brother is trying to put her behind bars. I fear her dangerous family might harm her, we want to make this public because Sunaina calling Kangana and crying all the time, Kangana doesn’t know how to help her. So now she has blocked her number but we fear for her safety, everyone has a right to love whoever they want, hopefully this will scare Roshans and they back off 🙏”
In a recent interview, Sunaina said, “I will meet Kangana and Rangoli as they are the ones bringing me justice.” While the Roshan family is yet to make a public statement, Sussanne’s post may help clear up the misunderstandings about the situation.
