Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen just got married! Rajeev and his girlfriend Charu Asopa tied the knot in the court on Friday, June 7.

Earlier, Charu had spoken to a leading daily about their wedding plans. She said in the interview, “We will have a destination wedding in Goa on June 16. The theme of the wedding is ‘Royal traditional’ so everything will be in that style. Functions will be engagement on 14th, followed by sangeet and mehendi on June 15 and haldi and wedding on June 16. We are getting married in both Bengali and Rajasthani style and rituals as Rajeev is a Bengali and I am a Rajasthani.”
Rajeev had said that sister Sushmita is quite excited about the wedding. “In fact, she has been the one working hard for the preparations. My sister is the most excited about my wedding with Charu. She has been working very hard day and night to make things happen, as we don’t have much time at all. June 16 could only happen because of my sister, mom and dad. It’s never easy to do things at the last minute. I am very blessed.”
A month ago, the former Miss Universe shared the news about her brother’s engagement to Charu.
She shared news of their engagement with a carousel of pictures of the lovely couple. Charu and Rajeev first met at a party earlier this year and have been dating each other since then, but they were not ready to talk about their relationship until recently. A source had then shared with a media portal, “Yes, Charu and Rajeev are dating each other. Their relationship is very tender at this stage. Both of them are not ready to talk about their relationship in public as of now and are taking things slowly. They are really fond of each other. The two bumped at a party and got along like a house on fire.”
