Get The Look: Sunny Leone’s All-Pink Monochrome Makeup Look

2020 is kinda dull but your makeup doesn’t have to be! That’s my mantra when I wake up every day and put on a bold, red lipstick or take out time to perfectly match my winged eyeliner. We’re obviously not stepping out of the house but there’s something about painting my face that sets the mood for the day. Well, I’m obviously not alone cause actor Sunny Leone seems to be doing exactly the same.

The Ek Paheli Leela actor just rocked a monochrome pink makeup look on her Instagram and we’re swooning. Blush cheeks, magenta lips, and Fuschia eyes when put together look oh-so-gorgeous. She even wore a pink blouse so that the entire ensemble would go well together.

Here Is A Step By Step Breakdown On How To Recreate This Look

If you’re enamoured by this makeup look, then we’ve got the details on how you can recreate it.

Step One: Prep And Prime Your Skin

For the base, start with moisturising your face with a cream that suits your skin type. Sunny has kept her base pretty matte so be sure to not choose one with shimmer particles. A pro tip would be to give yourself a face massage before starting off to make your skin elastic and radiant. Then move on to primer, you can use a pore minimising one or one which controls oil production if you’re planning on rocking this throughout the day.

Step Two: It’s All About The Eyes

Since the eye makeup is glamourous and works with coloured shadows, there could be a lot of fall out. Hence, starting with the eyes is a good idea. Take a nude brown eyeshadow and work your way with windscreen wiper motions in your crease. Then take a pinkish eyeshadow and go over it with a fluffy brush. You can go over the crease too, really smoking out the look. Take a tapered brush and with a deeper pink go over the outer corner of the eye.

Step Three: Perfect The Base

Now for the base, use a mattifying foundation and a damp beauty sponge and dab it into your skin. Spend your time blending it in and don’t forget the neck. Then use a concealer that’s a shade lighter than your skin tone and highlight the undereye area, the bridge of your nose, the centre of your forehead, and your chin. Blend it all well and then move on to the powders. You can bake your under eyes with translucent powder if you want or can just dust loose powder with a big, face brush to set everything in place

Step Four: Tying It All Together

Once the powder is dusted, take a pencil brush with the same pink shadows to smoke out the lower lashline. Choose a glitter pink shadow in your inner corner to really brighten the look. Then go ahead apply eyeliner and wing it out slightly. Use a glittery pink eyeshadow in your inner corner to brighten the makeup. After that, move onto the brows- fill them in and set them in place but don’t go overboard because Sunny has gone for natural eyebrows in this beauty look.

Step Five: Blush And Bronze Up The Face

Sunny has used only matte products for the face so you can bronze up the skin a little- use it on the hollos of your cheek, your jawline, and the tops of your forehead. She has gone heavy on the blush, tying into the all-pink look. So you can apply some to the apples of your cheeks.

Step Six: Add A Swipe Of Magic

For lipstick, you can choose a magenta shade just like the Jism 2 star. And as a final touch, spritz your face with setting spray so that your makeup is locked in place all day so that the creams and powder products you use blend in seamlessly.
