Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga has been brightening up our news feed ever since we first got introduced to Mamta and Mauji. Today, the makers of the film released a song from the film titled Chaav Laaga. Sung by the mellifluous Papon and Ronkini Gupta, the song has endearing lyrics, and Anushka and Varun bring an extraordinary love story on screen that we’re totally rooting for.
There are many cute moments in the song like when Varun does everything in his power to get on the bus that Anushka has already got on, the way the couple sways in the bus, blushing and shying away from each other, and the tears of happiness for Anushka when she shares her first meal with Varun. You see them working as life partners as well as business partners: Anushka is a supportive wife and Varun’s confidante, and Varun is working hard to make her proud.
Their innocence is the most convincing thing about the melodious song. The song is an ode to finding the meaning of love and understanding your partner and helping them achieve their dreams.
