Sonali Bendre, who has won hearts with movies like Hum Saath-Saath Hain and Major Saab, has been battling cancer for the last three months. The actress is currently undergoing treatment in New York, where many of her friends have visited her. Her battle against cancer hasn’t been easy, but Sonali has kept her fans and well-wishers updated with her condition. From announcing her illness in a heart-felt post on Instagram to talking about sharing it with her son, she has been positive about her journey and in her words, she has switched on the sunshine.
Today, she shared another post to talk about vanity and how looks matter to her. From putting on a wig after losing her hair to the treatment, to applying a bright red lipstick, her heartwarming post will bring tears to your eyes.
The actress went on to thank Priyanka Chopra who got her in touch with Lowe & Co, a beauty and wellness agency. The agency offers various healing and wellness activities including meditation, reiki, and tarot. They also have onboard hairstylists, manicurists and make-up artists, who often work on Priyanka and are the minds behind Sonali’s new wig and hairstyle. They worked on Sonali’s new look post her haircut and we are loving the change! Priyanka Chopra shares a deep friendship with Shrishti Behl, Sonali’s sister-in-law, which would explain the bond the two have formed ever since Sonali moved to New York.
