Believe it or not, but Sidharth Shukla had become a part of the web series, called Broken But Beautiful 3, even before he knew it himself. About a year ago, producer Ekta Kapoor announced that she was looking for a new cast for its third instalment. And, she asked her fans to give their suggestions. The audience wanted to see Sid on the show and finally, that’s what they got. The actor is all set to win his fans’ hearts (once again) in BBB 3 and we are so excited!
Sid plays the role of a heartbroken director, named Agastya on the show. Interestingly, the Bigg Boss 13 winner recently said in an interview with a leading daily that he found the character quite relatable. Shocking, right? Read on to know all the deets.
He said, “To an extent, a lot of situations Agastya has gone through in his life are quite similar to what has happened with Sidharth also. So, I could relate to it.”
While talking about heartbreaks and their takeaway, the Dil Se Dil Tak actor said, “Well, I have experienced this emotion a few times in my life. I have learnt from it and if I have made the mistake then I make sure that I don’t make that mistake again. And if it’s because of somebody else and I feel that I gave in too much then I realise what are alarming bells and I just step back then.”
Recently, Ekta had shared a few cosy scenes from the show where Sidharth was romancing his co-star Sonia Rathee. Obviously, the video created quite a buzz among their fans and while talking about the same, the actress said, “At the end of the day, you are telling a story, portraying reality, and this is what happens in reality. Once I got that in my mind, it felt like any other scene. It didn’t feel like oh, my God, I’m doing a kissing scene, or oh, my God, what will people think? It’s a story and it’s what they do. So, yeah, I wasn’t super apprehensive towards it.”
