Shweta Tiwari’s Daughter, Palak, Could’ve Been The Next Prerna In Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2!

Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has been quite in the buzz recently, with its new promos, teasers, and the constant who is playing who? But, we can never forget the original cast of the series! Shweta Tiwari is making a comeback to the theatre with her upcoming play titled Jab We Separated.

Speaking to a news media house Shweta revealed that her daughter was being offered the role of Prerna in the sequel. She said, “Yes, I would have told her to go ahead and do it. In fact, everybody was saying, even from Balaji (production house) that she should do it. It was she who said ‘No Mom, I don’t think I can do a daily soap and work day in and day out. I cannot do that at this point in time’. And not only Kasautii, many other television shows were offered to her, she said no to every show. She said ‘Right now I don’t want to do it. Even if I have to do it, then I’ll do it later.”

The 37-year-old actress further told the media house that she would never force upon a decision on her daughter, “She’s a very intelligent girl. She wants to be an actress; she has already decided that if she will do anything in her life then it will be related to this industry. But, she’s the one who takes her own call and says no or yes to projects.”

She further added that Palak, her daughter, is a responsible, and respectful young adult and that always knows what’s right or wrong. Even if it comes to parties or coming back home on time or buying something. She’s a wise girl, who makes her decisions very carefully.
