You Have To Know What KJo Has Done Again To Make #ShameOnKaranJohar Trend On Twitter

Oops, he did it again! Karan Johar, even while casually surfing the Internet, finds a way to meet controversy halfway. Yesterday, the Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer Kesari released and received an outstanding response from the audience. KJo's production house Dharma is one of the producers of the film, so as a friend and a proud producer, he took to Twitter to share the film's success.

His Twitter's flooded with positive reviews. It looked like KJo was having the best Friday ever. Until he wasn't.

Amidst all the comments about the movie, there was one that got KJo back into the headlines. In this comment, a Twitter user abused Shah Rukh Khan for his role in Zero and compared him to Akshay in Kesari. It was one nasty tweet full of offensive words for SRK, Karan Johar's best friend. And he liked it! KJo liked this user's comment on Shah Rukh and all hell broke on Twitter. The screenshot has gone viral...

...and so has the hashtag #ShameOnKaranJohar. SRK fans are calling out KJo for liking the insulting tweet. And he has become a target for trolls yet again. It's quite possible that Karan liked the tweet by mistake, but social media doesn't see it that way.

Twitterati is urging fellow users to boycott Dharma movies. Boycott is such a diluted word now - everyone wants to boycott everything. Remember Surf Excel controversy?

One user indirectly called him a snake for being a bad friend to SRK. And soon enough, more fans followed suit.

Let's go back down the memory lane to the day of Shah Rukh's birthday last year. Karan had posted a picture of SRK and his wife Gauri Khan with the sweetest birthday wish for him. He wrote, "Happy birthday bhai!!!! Have known Gauri and you for 25 years and it will always be the most special relationship of my life!!! Thank you for being family and for all the memories ...and here’s to many more!!! May #zero be your biggest and hugest blockbuster!!!❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗".

Well, Karan thinks its a "technical problem". The filmmaker just took to Twitter amidst the chaos and tweeted:

LOL! Do you think this was an honest mistake or are you team #ShameOnKaranJohar on this one? Let's hear what SRK has to say about this, shall we?

Some friendly banter, alright!
